Fibre Optic & Outside Plant (OSP) Installation

We install outside plant (OSP) fibre optic cable as a subcontractor for a major Canadian telecom carrier. Outside plant is the part of the network that runs between buildings and through the community — the cable that carries fibre service to homes and businesses.

Typical scope:

• Aerial and underground fibre placement
• Splicing
• Site cleanup

Structured Cabling & Low-Voltage Systems

EK TELECOM handles the full range of low-voltage work, from the cabling in the walls to the devices at the end of it. We plan, install and terminate each system so it is tidy, clearly labelled and ready to use.

• Structured cabling — Copper and Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A data cabling, terminations and patch panels for commercial sites.
• Kiosk installation — Kiosks installed, connected and ready to use.
• Security cameras — CCTV and IP camera installation, including cabling and mounting.
• Other low-voltage systems — Access control, Wi-Fi and wireless access points, AV and paging.

Fibre & Copper Network Testing and Verification

We test and verify fibre and copper network installations so you know the network performs as it should before it goes into service.
